First Parish Meetinghouse received a matching grant from Entergy Corporation to help fund the reprinting of the Meetinghouse History Book.
August, 2010
First Parish Meetinghouse received a National Trust Preservation Fund grant for $3,250 to match local funds to help prepare a fund raising plan for the Restoration of the Meetinghouse. The grant was made possible by the National Trust for Historic Preservation's Eastern Massachusetts Preservation Fund. In their letter, it was stated "The National Trust is very supportive of your worthwhile preservation activity."
July, 2011
First Parish Meetinghouse received two grants to purchase advertising materials promoting tours of the Meetinghouse.
Entergy Corporation provided a grant for $500.00 and Plymouth County Convention & Visitors' Bureau provided $415.00.
We are grateful to both for their support of the tours of the historic First Parish Meetinghouse.
